Public Review: June 2026 Revisions to Housing Element Technical Report Amendments

Note: You are receiving this email because you signed up to receive updates or were identified as a stakeholder for the Policy Plan Amendments and/or Eucalyptus Business Park Specific Plan (EBPSP) projects. The Housing Element Amendment is being considered as part of the broader Policy Plan Amendment effort.

The City of Ontario has released an updated Draft Amendment to the 2021–2029 Housing Element for public review. The public review period is open from June 5, 2026, through June 12, 2026.

The updated draft includes revisions made in response to comments received from the public and the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) regarding the March 2026 draft amendment.

*To assist the public in reviewing revisions to Chapter 5 of the Housing Element Technical Report, Attachment 1 to the Hearing Draft Housing Element Technical Report Amendments provides a redline comparison showing changes made between the March 2026 Public Review Draft and the June 2026 Hearing Draft.

How to Submit Comments

Comments may be submitted as follows:

  • In Person: Comments will be accepted during regular business hours beginning Friday, June 5, 2026, at City Hall, Planning Department, 303 East B Street, Ontario, CA 91764.
  • Electronic Written Comments: Email comments to Thomas Grahn at tgrahn@ontario.gov.
  • Physical Written Comments: Mail comments to the address below. Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on June 12, 2026.

Comments should include the name, email, and/or telephone number of a contact person for the individual, agency, or organization who would be available to answer questions about the comment.
