The City of Ontario Environmental Justice Story Map

State legislation, specifically SB 1000 (2016), requires local jurisdictions to develop an environmental justice element or integrate environmental justice goals, policies, and objectives into existing plan elements to address disproportionate environmental and health risks in disadvantaged communities.

The City of Ontario has embedded environmental justice goals, policies, and objectives into the Environmental Resources Element.
