Draft Vision Plan

The City Collected Public Comments between April 3, 2025 and June 30, 2025 - Commenting is now closed.

The draft vision concept, informed by community input, technical studies, and stakeholder feedback, illustrates the preferred alternative, showing how the vision statement and guiding principles for Downtown Shoreline could manifest over time (through 2075 and beyond).

The City asked the community to share their thoughts on the Draft Vision Plan, considering how the strategies and ideas may impact them, their neighborhood, and organizations within the Long Beach community.

    Released January 2024

    The Opportunities Lookbook serves as the land use assessment and existing conditions report for land use, urban design and mobility topics in Downtown Shoreline. The information in the lookbook will help the project team imagine and illustrate how the Community’s Vision Statement and Guiding Principles may physically manifest within the district as shown in the BIG IDEAS and refined in the Draft Vision Concept.
